The Duality
Two men. One truth. A darker London.
Play Dr. Henry Jekyll and Mr. Edward Hyde in a London where fiction bleeds into history, and the Ripper is only one thread.
The Whitechapel murders are terrorising the East End, but Jack the Ripper is part of something larger. Sherlock Holmes is investigating crimes that shouldn't be possible. A young H. G. Wells is building things that shouldn't exist.
The transformation changes everything: the controls, the camera, the music, the way people react to you, and which parts of the city you can reach.
Scroll to change
Jekyll. A gentleman, a cane, a serum vial, and a street that isn't safe after dark.
The Black Veil. Hooded men close in out of the fog. The cane only holds them so long.
The change. The serum takes hold. The coat, the shoulders, the man inside it.
Hyde. Up the brickwork and over the roofs. The city is a different shape now.
Two ways to play
The change between them rewrites the controls, the camera, the music and the city.
Dr. Henry Jekyll
- Stealth and social deduction among Victorian society
- Gather ingredients and brew serums in the lab
- Environmental puzzles: intellect over force
- Warm gaslight, strings and grounded movement
Mr. Edward Hyde
- Rooftop parkour: wall-runs, vaults, leaps
- Cane-and-fist combat, grabs, throws, ground-pounds
- Smash through walls and breakable streets
- Cold contrast, industrial percussion, speed
Seventy seconds in Whitechapel
